I’m a bit perplexed to be honest.
I have a “NO FEAR” duffel bag, which (apart from the logo) is a completely the same as this. Same hexagonal “honeycomb like” structure, same pickets and dimensions.
I suspect that the design and the productions of these bags are done by another company who simply provided white labelled products for any company to use and sell as their own by stamping their logo on it.
Having owned a big similar to this, I would say this is OK definately does not warrant the $50 price tag. I bought mind on sale in UK for £17 about $27USD. WHich is just about right, I would not be happy paying $50 for it.
To it’s credit the bad is tough and durable, it will last you a while, however I can;t help but feel the “honeycomb padding” is just a gimmick and because it’s nylon and quite thin, it will eventually succmb to wear and tear.
If you’re going to be sping $50 on a bag (which is quite a lot) I’d say just go the whole way and buy a proper MMA bag, double your money ($99) and buy a Datsura bag. http://www.dsmma.com/html/pgb.html
I’d like to point out I’m in no way affiliated ti datsura, and don;t even own one myself. Howeevr I do have my eyes on this and will get it if my no fear bag fails on on. FightTrends, how about a datsura review??
I second the Datsusara review request! Datsusara has put together a pretty amazing line of gear bags. I own one, but am not affiliated w/ the company. Well-spent 100$ IMO
Thanks for setting me straight on the gear bags guys. To be honest with you, I have seen the Datsusara bag once online before but I guess I didn’t give it enough of a look. I’ll have to go back and check the bag out again.
I’m going to grab Datsura’s battle pack 2 once it comes out. They are highly regarded and seem interesting. Made with Hemp is pretty cool as well…though hopefully it doesn’t catch fire…
