FightTrends 2009 Fight Apparel Awards Winners
After thousands of votes have been cast (yes, we really did get thousands of votes) we have the winners of the first annual FightTrends Fight Apparel Awards. The categories were Best Fight Shorts, Best Fight Shirts, Best Gear and Equipment, Best Walkout Clothing, Best Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Gis, Best Rash Guards and Best Online Retailer.
This contest was a true indication of the power of social media as almost all winners were able to successfuly leverege their social media networks and gain the votes necessary to shoot them into one of the top spots.

Venum sweeped the awards…that’s crazy. I found it a tough choice between MMAWarehouse and Budovideos for online retailer, I’m wondering how close it was.
Yeah, Venum did crazy. Like I said, a great example of the power of social media. Venum had a large social media following both in the US and in Europe and were able to turn that into a lot of votes for them. I was shocked as well.
Damn…though Sprawl was a lock for sure. I guess now Venum has to volunteer to sponsor the next giveaway
